MISCELLANEOUS CHATTER Saturday 3/14

BITS AND PIECE

*Hey Cousin Tom ! Larry's having a great time useing his Tom Tom (GPS) He/we've been calling it Tom Tom. I didn't like that so decided to call it Cousin Tom or just Couz. Larry didn't think he could remember that and he also didn't like Tommy. So it is now just "Tom". So hope you feel like you are with us.

*As some of you know we anquished over bringing the two cats, not knowing how they'd do, or should I say the way we'd do with them. Landfill is traveling very well, seems to have adjusted very well. BUT Little One is a pain!!! He is afraid of every noise, or movement outside. He hides under the bedcovers and keeps getting under the kitchen sink where he crawls in back of the refrig and "under" the tub. We thought we had it fixed so he couldn't get under there until this morning he opened another cupboard door. At present he's under there.

*Oh oh...this morning is the first time I heard, "I want to go home!" I immediately sqeulched that!!! We had just come out of the Flea Market...(more about that later) and we were tired of walking and seeing junk.
*Molly is a super traveling dog, so she is no problem.
*Have had cable tv most places but not a lot of channels, so missed the big Syracuse OT game with UConn. Here at this campsite we have lots of channels so we got to watch Syracuse win over W Virginia last night. We'll watch them play in the championship game tonight.
*Going to Walmart's later today to pick up odds and ends of things we need and go out to supper.
*The truck is comfortable to ride in. I wondered how it'd be because the van is so comfortable. We're enjoying the Sirius radio stations that the kids bought us for Christmas.
*Doesn't seem possible that there's snow outside our door back home. Sun is shining here and suppose to be in low 80's.
*Hey Linda...those cookies were delicious. (Linda baked some oatmeal/raisin cookies to eat on the way)
*Larry's tired of putting the bikes in back of the truck each time (has to take the front wheels off everytime), so we're going to buy a bike rack today to put on the back of the camper.
*Well, I'm going outside to sit in the sun and read my book.

Keep having fun! Our snow is about gone...and I notice the Adirondacks are having some 50 degree weather today! Maybe the snow will be gone when you get back! If I were you...I'd call to be sure...and if it's not gone....extend your trip.
