DAY 2 Heading South

Saturday March 7
We left Endwell around 8:30 a.m. We had a good time with the Shipway's as always.  We've been friends with them since the early 60's.  As always, Anita had a "bag of goodies" for me.  She also gave me numerous magazines to take along with me.
Flying J Truck Stop, Ashland, N. C.
Our truck/trailer is the second one from the right
For Christmas, our kids gave us  a membership to Sirius for our new truck.
We were able to  listen to the exciting Syracuse BB game while heading down Route 81 out of Binghamton.
This days the trip was long, should be the longest day we'll have to do.  We arrived in Ashland, N.C.(Flying J's"  about 5 pm...set up the camper and then went to the Flying J buffet supper.  It was excellent.
Molly, Landfill and Little One are doing just fine.  We stopped at least every couple of hrs for a break and to let them go in the camper to use their kitty litter and stretch a bit. .
On to Florence, S.C. tomorrow where we will stay at a KOA campsite and visit our friend Roger Van Loan
