FJ and G RAIL TRAIL AGAIN

BIKING SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Those of you who haven't biked or walked on an old railroad bed trail, are missing a real treat. We have had the priviledge of biking on the Eric Canal trail from Schoharie Crossing to Rome NY, we've done from Canajoharie to Ft Plain, and from Schoharie Crossing through Schenectady to Niscayuna. We biked 15 miles on the Leigh High Valley RR bike trail at Jim Thorpe, Pa. We've biked over 60 miles on the Silver Bullet Trail in Georgia and many miles around our home town, esp. many times down to the Northampton Beach Campsite. We also enjoy just stopping in a town we've never been in, getting our bikes out and biking around town. We see so much more and also meet some local folks along the way. Try it sometime, it' s a great sport.

Sights along the way. We also must have seen 6 or 7 cats along the way. I don't think they were strays, I think they belonged to the homes along side of the trail. We saw other little creatures surrying into the woods too. The leaves are falling fast, but there's still lots of color.

There probably won't be too many more of these days left before the snow starts piling up. Then we enjoy the beauty of the snow on the trees and hunker down beside the woodstove, read, and work on my history and genealogy and invite our friends in for supper, games, and good conversations and of course football. I love all the seasons that God has created for us!
