January 6, 2008 Larry's mother celebrated her 96th birthday
She still has the same sweet disposition, never complains. She has lost most of her vision and hearing but gets along very well at home alone. Her family comes in every day to check on her and bring her meals. Her sons keep the house in repair, mows the lawn, plows the driveway, etc etc. She still does her own laundry though. She enjoys listening to the audio tapes that the Government Blind Helper Group mails to her every month. She especially likes the tapes from the magazine, "Guidepost".
