SACANDAGA HERITAGE DAY

Sacandaga Heritage Day Celebrated in Northville

"A fine old-fashioned summer afternoon, games, food music, friends and family made for a successful first time event to recognize the heritage of Northville and Northampton.
Games for the children started off the event, which included sack, egg and three legged races, a Frisbee toss and tug of war. An inflatable water slide was a main attraction for the little ones.
etc etc etc.... Representatives of the Northville - Northampton Historical Society were available to answer questions with displays of local history, which was being recognized.
State Sen Hug T Farley (R) attended, greeting people etc. There was a community picnic and also a concert. etcetcetc"
