BOWSER'S 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Joyce Springer became my friend
when her parents moved to Northville when we were both in second grade. We were friends through high school, we went to the same college and we were in each others weddings. How's that for a long friendship? While we were raising our family in Endwell, NY, Joyce and her husband Paul were living and raising their family in California, so we didn't see much of each other for quite a few years. In 1994 they moved to Pa. and we moved back to our home town so that put us about 5 hrs from each other so we have been able to pick up where we left off, enjoying many times at each others homes. About 6 months ago Joyce asked me if her and Paul could celebrate their 50th anniversary here at our house. I suggested a pavilion in town would be the safest place (weather wise), so along with Joyce we made plans for the celebration, which took place August 23.
