YOU CAN ALSO SEE THE FINANCES THAT IS NEEDED AND HOW MUCH HAS BEEN DONATED ALONG WITH WHO HAS GIVIN'. HERE IS A THOUGHT, IF YOU HAVE 20 OR MORE FRIENDS THAT GIVES $4.00 THEY JUST BOUGHT 20 BALES OF HAY. NOW HAVE THOSE 20 PEOPLE SEND THIS TO 20 MORE PEOPL,THAT IS HOW WE WILL REACH OUR GOAL. SO PLEASE GO TO WWW.FIRSTGIVING.COM/SRHORSERESCUE AND GIVE WHAT YOUR HEART TELLS YOU TO GIVE.ALSO EVERYTHING YOU GIVE IS TAX DEDUCTABLE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THERANCH GO TO http://www.solidrockranch.net/ THANK YOU FROM MY HEART DEBI

I received this email from a local friend that has a real love for horses. She is in need of some assistance so she can continue to help these horses. If you could even just buy one bale of hay that would be a help. You don't have to contribute "on line". You can send a check to Solid Rock Ranch 222 County Hwy 143 Northville, NY 12134. I can vouch for her and her mission to the saving of horses. Please help feed the horses!! Thanks Gail

Weekend of March 14 - 16 at Odell's

This is Sue and Chris's bedroom now. Larry and Sue put up a wall down the middle to separate the room into two smaller rooms for Kate and Kenzie. The new baby will have Kenzie's old room. Sue is 7 months pregnant but it didn't hinder her from hanging in there all day working in the room/wall with her Dad. Larry/Dad also corrected the electrical problem in the new bedroom that will be Chris and Sue's room. They are almost there....still tapeing and sanding the drywall in their room and the girls rooms. Painting next, then installing a rug in the new room before they can move into it. They're going to need some help moving all that furniture around. Kate's furniture, which will be the babies, is downstairs. It will need to be moved upstairs.

Weekend of March 14 -16 at Odell's

Kenzie loves to do projects with me. I took a blank book and some magazines with me. We cut out pictures and pasted them into the book, which became Kenzie's autograph book and diary.
She filled in several pages and she got Gpa, her Dad, and I to write in it. She is going to take it to school to have her teacher and friends write in it.

The weekend proved interesting and fun for Odie, the Odell's kitten and Molly and Maggie who enjoyed chasing him and playing with him.

COMING SOON

I'm working on a new blog. It's title is "Logging into Rustic Living". It's a blog about the history of building our log cabin, decorating a log cabin, and living in a log cabin. I will make it available as soon as I have enough of it ready.

A visit from my sister BJ

My sister who lives about 15 miles from me stopped by for a visit on Saturday, along with her son Paul and his wife Vickie and their little boy, Matthew. Matthew is just 12 months old. He is a cutie, the apple of my sister BJ's eye. (Wish you could see his cute dimple in this picture.) BJ always stops at Klippel's and brings over apple and raspberry turnover's. I put the electric tea pot on and we enjoy a cup of tea with the turnover's.
